I remember dreaming last night that I was in an arcade repairing a pinball machine. For those who haven't been in the field, pinball machines are about the most difficult and tedious things to repair in any arcade, and it didn't help that for some reason this one was loaded with flimsy plastic ping-pong balls rather than the normal solid steel ones.
The very last dream, though, is still creeping me out a bit. I dreamed my mom had given me the phone number of someone to prank call for some reason. That in itself is weird since my mom is the one person least likely to appreciate my prank calls, she hates the whole idea of them. I dialed the number, in a chuckling mood, thinking of what sort of prank I was going to do, but when the other end picked up before I could say anything I heard a sobbing woman's voice say "Help."
I guess it doesn't seem all that creepy written down, but it was enough to jerk me awake, full of real-world adrenaline. I can't place who the voice was, though it seems familiar to me. I remember it clearly.
