Had a strange traveling dream. Fina, myself, and someone else I can't remember but I knew within the dream were on a road trip. We were stopped at some deserted truckstop. There were the standard tractor-trailers parked outside, but out attention was focused on one huge boat trailer, which was very warped, as if it had been melting in the sunlight. The wheels and trailer itself were curling sideways, under the stress of holding this huge boat, which was maybe 20 feet tall and 100 feet long.
What was even stranger was watching someone drive away in it, and seeing it wobble like an old wheelbarrow.
Later, inside the truckstop, no matter what we asked for the place was out of it. I ended up ordering a steak, only to have to explain what one was to the chef. And wherever we were, it wasn't in the US, as we had to convert our pocket money. I kept grumbling about the exchange rate.
Earlier, I had a vague wandering-around-NYC dream, but the entire city seemed abandoned. This is probably related to the fact that I'm considering the merits of leaving New York.
